Reviews of Mind Over Matter

This is an important contribution for anyone seeking a fresh perspective on the world of science and its relevance to Torah, ethics and Jewish law.
Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz
Director, Israel Institute for Talmudic Publications
Scholar-of-the-millennium (Time Magazine Jan.18, 1988)

Always challenging and never afraid to call into question widely held beliefs, this is an important and fascinating work and one  which shows a great mind and spirit at the very height of its powers. The editors are to be congratulated on an exceptionally well produced volume which will surely make each of its readers think again about science, creation and faith.
Professor Jonathan Sacks
Chief Rabbi of Great Britain

How are science and Judaism to be reconciled?  The Lubavitcher Rebbe's approach is to unequivocally affirm the truth of Torah while wholeheartedly accepting from science what it empirically discovers. This is a controversial and valuable book, certain to trouble the complacency of many scientists, and equally certain to profoundly challenge Jews of all degrees of observance.
Robert Pollack, Professor, Biological Sciences
Director, Center for the Study of Science and Religion
Columbia University

What is science, what are its strengths, its limitations, and its lessons for humanity? This thought-provoking volume will help readers engage such questions through the words of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, a great and thoughtful teacher. His penetrating insights illumine modern issues with timeless wisdom.
Arno Penzias, Nobel laureate in Physics

It is refreshing to read something that is so positive and thoughtful… I have been having many conflicting thoughts lately about the role religion plays in our lives… Arnie Gotfryd's article allows for intelligent thought and for a belief in G-d.  Perhaps that is what Judaism is really about.

Beautiful! This is my nourishment. Anything that confirms that Shrodinger's Cat was brought down in the Torah 3000 years ago I'm into!

Albert Einstein was taught, from a very young age, to know and understand G-d. Because of this, he had the ability to take the most complex things and make them extremely simple. I am glad I discovered your website because The Almighty has blessed you with the same insight as Mr. Einstein.  Baruch Shem.

GEVALDIK!!!!!!!!!!  I love it. I think that this site has the potential to change minds, open hearts, and move students and all thinking people to reexplore their values, ideals, and goals.  in short i think that this site can create the kind of paradigm shift needed to help usher in the geula.
